1) The Members' Allowance Scheme permits train travel only at the lowest available fares. Any first-class travel procured above lowest fare cost would be purchased only at the discretion of the Head of Democratic Services. There have been two such instances of this in the timeframes specified in the request.
2) Instance 1 - procured a first class ticket.
Instance 2 - Standard fare travel was purchased, and upgraded to first class travel.
Dates: 16/01/26 11/02/26
3) Instance 1 - £70.00 first class ticket;
Instance 2 - Upgrade cost £28.00 on top of standard ticket price.
