Once fireworks have fully cooled, they can be placed in your general waste bin. Before disposing of them, soak used fireworks in water for at least 24 hours to make sure there is no risk of reignition. After soaking, wrap them securely (for example, in a plastic bag) and place them in your general waste bin.
Unused or faulty fireworks should never be placed in your household bins. Contact the retailer for advice on safe disposal.
