1) Please provide the name of the independent panel used to evaluate the LCC councillor pay increase.

2) Also provide emails from the independent panel showing the amount stated by Cllr Sean Matthews which would not be accepted and frozen.

1) The Independent Remuneration Panel (IRP).

2) There are no emails from the IRP showing the amount stated by Councillor Sean Matthews, however the IRP's recommendations were appended to the report to Council on 20 February 2026 and can be found on the Council's website at: https://lincolnshire.moderngov.co.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=120&MId=8951

As such, this information is exempt from disclosure in accordance with the exemption set out at Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 which provides that a public authority need not comply with a request for disclosure under the Act where that information is reasonably accessible by other means
