Total Looked After Children (LAC) Demographics

For the purposes of this request, I have used the term "currently" to refer to the most recent date for which validated data is available (for example, the most recent SSDA903 return period or your most recent validated internal snapshot for Lincolnshire). I would be very grateful if you could provide the following information:

1. Total Looked After Children (LAC) Demographics The total number of Looked After Children currently under Lincolnshire's care, in any form of care, categorized by:

1a. Age Range: Under 1, 1-4, 5-9, 10-15, 16 and over.

b. Gender: As recorded in the SSDA903 return.

2. Demographics of Children in Residential Care The number of Looked After Children (LAC) currently housed in residential care homes (specifically those under Placement codes P1, P2, P3, and R1), separated by:

a. Gender: As recorded in the SSDA903 return.

b. Age Categories: Under 1, 1-4, 5-9, 10-15, 16 and over (age at last birthday).

3. Placement & Provider Breakdown 

a. The total number of individual care homes where children are currently placed by Lincolnshire County Council.

b. The number of these homes that are located within the geographical boundaries of Lincolnshire.

c. A breakdown of the children placed in these homes, separated by:

i. Provider Type: Local authority run (including other LAs), Private for-profit, and Private not-for-profit.

ii. Gender: As recorded in the SSDA903 return (per provider type).

iii. Age Range: (Using the categories from Section 1) per provider type and gender.

4. Financial Averages The average (mean) Gross Weekly Cost paid directly to providers per child, separated by:

a. Provider Type: Local authority run, Private for-profit, and Private not-for-profit.

b. Age Range: (Using the categories from Section 1) per provider type.

c. Gender: Per provider type and age range (I would appreciate this as a secondary breakdown if it can be provided within the standard cost limits).

5. Format: If possible, I would prefer to receive this data in a machine-readable format such as a Microsoft Excel Workbook (.xlsx).

This helps ensure accuracy in my analysis and is my preferred format under Section 11 of the Act. Structure: For the general demographics (Section 1), a simple grid/matrix would be ideal. For the placement and financial data, a "flat file" or list format (with headers such as [Provider_Type], [Age_Group], [Gender], etc.) would be most helpful. Privacy & Redaction: If any specific count is less than five (<5), please feel free to use a symbol (such as <5) to protect the privacy of the individuals involved, as I understand the requirements of Section 40(2) regarding personal data.
