1. The number of incidents attended at church or other religious building locations since 1 January 2018, broken down by year and by incident type (e.g., accidental fire, deliberate fire, false alarm).

2. Confirmation of whether your incident recording system has a specific location type field for religious sites (church, mosque, synagogue, temple, etc.).

3. Copies of any guidance or policy documents used by your service regarding the recording of incidents at places of worship.
 

Data is not held back to 1 January 2018. Data provided for the period 1 January 2019 – 31 December 2025.

1. NB: Data includes where the incident occurred inside the building but not where it occurred in an outdoor location within the site of a religious building. Data includes where the building is derelict.

2. Yes, the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) national recording system (Fire and Rescue Data Platform - FaRDaP) has a property category of 'Religious Building' which includes the following options:
