Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

Q1, 2 and 4
The information provided on the attached spreadsheet has been collated for Q1, Q2 and Q4 as far as practicable in relation to the request; however, please note:
- Information on expenditure is held by financial year only and not by academic year. Information on placement numbers may be held either by financial year or academic year depending on the nature of the provision. This may mean individual pupils are counted more than once across the financial years shown.
- Placements are individually commissioned and therefore costs and expenditure are only available linked to the (cumulative) spend per pupil(s) over a financial year with a given provider.
- Pupils can move in and out of placement types and some can occupy part time placements across multiple suppliers.
- Volumes relate to the number of placements commissioned at any point in the financial year and not the number of pupils who are present for the entire financial year (pupils can move in and out of provision and therefore no direct correlation can be drawn from this information to average daily rate calculations).
- Pupils will attend on a varying basis including full time, part time and some pupils only for a few hours per day or per week, some are on hourly based tuition rates for variable hours per week and the rate may differ for individual pupils according to needs.
