This is a request for information according to the Freedom of Information Act. It relates to cuts to council spending.
Please note there are four parts to my request.
1) Please can you share the number of council-funded programmes that fall under the umbrella of diversity, inclusion and equalities active on 1 May 2025. Please can you provide a list of the programmes.
2) Please can you share the number of council-funded programmes that fall under the umbrella of diversity, inclusion and equalities active on 20 March 2026. Please can you provide a list of the programmes.
3) If your council has cut DEI council-funded programmes since 1 May 2025, please can you provide the savings in £GBP of those cuts.
4) Please can you tell me the number of equalities staff, including but not limited to officers, managers, programme directors, the council employed (a) on 1 May 2025, and (b) on 20 March 2025.

• Autism Awareness: Strategies for Effective Inclusion of Groups and Individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (AC) – Five three-hour online sessions commissioned from independent trainer with expertise in the area.
• Autism Learning Pathway Workshops (AC) – Five full day workshops commissioned from independent trainer with expertise in this area.
• Bitesize Event - LGBTQI+ Inclusivity (AC) – Four three-hour online sessions delivered by inhouse trainers.
Children’s Social Care training sessions:
• Gypsy, Roma and Traveller Children and Families
• Anti-Racist Practice
• LGBTQ+ Awareness
• Engaging Men and Paternal Networks
