Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

 1. Please find details below of specific guidance issued to council staff since May 2025 that relates to improving equality, diversity and inclusion:

We have had reports from staff going about their daily business reporting racial abuse.  The council adopts a zero tolerance approach for staff being abused at work.

We should all be able to go about our work without feeling threatened and have a responsibility to support our affected employees, as well as make it clear that abuse of any kind directed towards colleagues and the communities we serve will not be tolerated.

We would like to remind you that guidance covering a range of issues is available to support our workforce, for example:

·    Safety and Wellbeing, including advice for check-in conversations and practical considerations for adjustments

·    Signposting to appropriate support

·    How to report abuse

·    Relevant policies

·    Consequences for racist behaviour

We apologise for the formatting of these documents. As the guidance and policies are located on our internal intranet and presented as webpages, they cannot be exported or saved as PDFs.
