- Reasons
-
Lincolnshire County Council recently received a request to review the waiting restrictions at the above location.
Investigations have shown that inconsiderate and dangerous parking close to pedestrian refuge is obstructing traffic flow especially for buses and larger vehicles causing safety concerns for all road users. To maintain traffic flow and improve highway safety in this area it is proposed to extend the no waiting at any time restriction.
Therefore, it is proposed to prohibit waiting as set out on the plans to the Order.
The Chief Constable, South Holland District Council have been consulted, along with other local groups/companies.
