Reasons

Investigations have identified instances of vehicles parking at the junction of Lime Court and Alexandra Road, resulting in reduced visibility and raising safety concerns for all road users.

The introduction of waiting restrictions at this location would help to improve sight lines for vehicles entering and exiting Lime Court.

Reducing on street parking would support the maintenance of traffic flow and ensure that emergency vehicles are able to access properties on Lime Court without obstruction.

Therefore, it is proposed to prohibit waiting as set out on the plans to the Order.
