Reasons

Investigations have shown that inconsiderate and dangerous parking is occurring at the junction, causing visibility and safety concerns for all road users.

Restrictions have been proposed to cover the majority of the cul-de-sac, in order to ensure that the turning head remains clear of parked vehicles which will improve safety for all road users.

Therefore, it is proposed to prohibit waiting as set out on the plans to the Order.

The Chief Constable and City of Lincoln Council have been consulted, along with other local groups/companies.
