Lincoln recycling centre Purpose

I would be grateful if you could provide the following information:

1) What is the intended purpose of the 'Reuse' area at the Lincoln recycling centre?

2) Which company or organisation collects the items placed in this section?

3) Does the company pay the council or site operator to collect these items?

4) If payment is involved, are these funds accounted for, and how are they used?

1)Diverting waste from recycling or energy recovery saves Lincolnshire County Council disposal costs associated with these methods, reduces the environmental impact of the associated haulage or processing of these wastes.

2) These are collected from the public and stored on site by our Staffing Contractor (site operator) at this site EWC (Environmental Waste Controls), they manage sale of these items.

3) Items collected are sold by our Staffing Contractor EWC, with an income share between EWC and Lincolnshire County Council

4) For income to the County Council these funds are returned to the revenue budget Waste Services allocated to the running of this HWRC.
