I'm writing as a local resident as I understand that a significant number of children rely on council-provided transport to get to school, particularly in rural areas.



I wanted to understand the overall cost of this.



For the period from 1 May 2024 to the present date, please confirm:



1. The total amount spent on home-to-school transport, including both mainstream and SEND provision.



2. The projected total spend on home-to-school transport for the full 2024/25 financial year compared to the original budget set.



3. The total amount spent specifically on taxi or individual transport arrangements.



4. Any in-year budget monitoring reports or summaries which identify overspending in school transport.
