1. Please can you tell me when this repair was carried out;
a. who inspected it and
b. when was this passed as acceptable.
2. Please can you confirm that your actions comply with your duties under the Highways Act 1980?
3. I see the pot hole that damaged my wheel & tyre still hasn't been inspected or repaired. Does this timescale comply with your duties under the Highways Act 1980?
I would also like to draw your attention to more pot holes on Newark Road, Bracebridge
First one is on junction with Brant Road, travelling towards Hykeham.
4. Please can you advise when this was first reported,
a. when it was acknowledged and
b. why it hasn't been repaired yet?
5. Do these timescales comply with your duties under the Highways Act 1980?
Second pot hole is on Newark Road opposite Clayton Road junction. Again, you can see from the double yellow line wear, that this has been here for some time. If there is a vehicle turning right into Clayton Road and you are driving straight on in the left lane, there is no way of avoiding this pot hole.
6. Please advise when this stretch of road was last inspected and
a. why this massive pot hole hasn't been repaired, while others have?
b. Does this comply with your duties under the Highways Act 1980?
7. Do your duties under the Highways Act 1980 require you to actually travel on the road to look for pot holes or do you just rely on the general public reporting them?
