The effect of which will to introduce waiting restrictions as stated in the Schedule below.

• Mandatory school keep clear markings to be in operation Mon-Fri 8-9.30am & 2.30-4.30pm on Peascliffe Drive fronting school entrance.

• No Waiting at any Time and No Loading Mon-Fri 8-9.30am & 2.30-4.30pm at junctions on Peascliffe Drive and fronting number 49 Longcliffe Road

• No Waiting and No Loading Mon-Fri 8-9.30am & 2.30-4.30pm on Peascliffe Drive fronting numbers 17 & 19 and 22 to 30 (even numbers only)

• No Waiting and No Loading Mon-Fri 8-9.30am & 2.30-4.30pm on Longcliffe Road fronting numbers 45 & 47 and 62 to 70 (even numbers only)

Investigations undertaken at this location have confirmed that the area would benefit from the introduction of waiting restrictions. Parking is currently taking place at the junctions and in front of the school entrance, creating visibility issues and raising safety concerns for all road users.

The existing advisory School Keep Clear markings are not being adhered to, and therefore the proposal introduces enforceable restrictions to ensure that the area outside the school entrance remains free of vehicles during peak times.

• The proposed restrictions on Longcliffe Road are intended to keep the junction clear of parked vehicles, thereby supporting the efficient flow of traffic and improving visibility for pedestrians using the designated crossing point.

• Therefore, it is proposed to prohibit waiting as set out on the plans to the Order.

• The Chief Constable, Grantham Town Council and South Kesteven District Council have been consulted, along with other local groups/companies.
