Proposed Extension of Restrictions Horncastle

Please could you provide me with information concerning the Proposed Extension of Restrictions - No Waiting at Any Time West Street Horncastle. TRO/NB/26/001.

1) Please inform me why the TRO proposal was redacted on the LCC website. It could be viewed on 18th May 2026 but was no longer visible on 20th May 2026.

2) Please forward details regarding the objections that LCC Highways received to the proposal before 11th April 2025.

3) Please provide details of the consultation period for the proposal after 11th April 2025 and who Highways consulted.

4) Please inform me of the date Highways contacted Horncastle Town Council during the consultation period.

5) Please tell me what date the Order was published after the end of the consultation period.

6) Please tell me when, where and how notification of the Order was published prior to the yellow lines being installed sometime in December 2025.

1. The scheme was moved from “Proposed” status to “Operational” and is therefore removed as a proposal from the website.
2. No correspondence received specifically containing the wording “objection”
3. The public consultation dates were from 12th March 2025 to 11th April 2025. Consultees who were included in the consultation:- The Divisional Highways Manager, Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, Lincolnshire Police, East Lindsey District Council, Horncastle Town Council, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue Services, North Eastern Area Traffic Commissioners, Stagecoach East Midlands, PC Coaches of Lincoln Ltd, The Road Haulage Association Ltd, Freight Transport Association Midland Region, National Farmers Union, local businesses and residents.

5. The Order was published as a proposed scheme from 12th March 2025 until being made operational
