School Transport Contracts Past 5 Years

Please provide the following information for all school transport contracts awarded by the council over the last five financial years:



1. The total number of school transport contracts in place during each financial year.



2. How many of these contracts received a price increase during the contract term.



3. Of those contracts that received a price increase, how many were increased specifically in line with inflation (for example CPI or RPI).



4. For each contract that received an inflation-related increase, please state:

- The date of the increase

- The percentage increase applied

- The inflation measure used (CPI, RPI, or other)

- The reason for the increase



5. How many contracts did not receive any inflation-related increase during their term.



6. Please provide the council's written policy or guidance relating to inflationary uplifts for school transport contracts.



7. Please confirm whether any operators requested inflationary increases that were refused during this period, and if so, how many.
