Grantham High Street scheme

Please provide details of:

1) where the £2 million originally allocated to the Grantham High Street scheme was ultimately applied, including:

a) the schemes or projects funded;

b) the relevant budget lines or cost centres;

c) the dates on which expenditure was incurred.

For the following schemes: Dysart Road, Alma Park, and the B1174, please provide:

a) the date each scheme was included in the capital programme;

b) the originally approved budget;

c) the funding sources;

d) the dates of expenditure and completion.

Confirmation of whether these schemes are included within the Council's reported "routine highways works" capital expenditure, and how they are recorded within the capital programme.

1.

a. The projects funded were Dysart Road, Alma Park, and the B1174.

b. Cost centre CO2035; LB8214.

c. Relevant expenditure was completed in financial year 2024/2025 although some activity continued into 2025/2026.

a. Decision notices for the schemes were published on the following dates:  Dysart Road 7/5/2024 Alma Park 7/5/2024, B1174 22/3/2024.

b. The budgets, as set out in the committee reports which led to decisions were:  Dysart Road £2.471million, Alma Park £0.569m, B1174 £0.687million.

c. Funding was from the Highways budget, code CO2035; LB8214, which is where the government grant was transferred to.

d. Expenditure was completed in financial year 2024/2025, with the schemes completing in 2025/2026.

Expenditure was reported in the overall Highways Asset Protection programme.
