Traffic Regulation Orders made in respect of the closure of Blue Gowt Lane

Request

1) I would be pleased if the Councils would send me copies of Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO's made in respect the closure of Blue Gowt Lane from its closure in January 2022 up to today's date. This should include;

1a) TTRO's obtained in respect to this closure and,

1b) the Section 247 Stopping Up Order required by the Highways Act to permanently close a Highway. The Council's act of digging a ditch across this Highway shows it's clear intention is not to reopen it.

In the absence of the above: evidence of the Legal process followed by the Council to permit continued/ permanent closure.

Decision

1. Copies attached.

Should you require the attachments mentioned above please contact customerinformationservice@lincolnshire.gov.uk with the below reference number and this can be provided.

No stopping up order in place as there was no original highway to close. The access over the new road is likely once the housing developers gain permission for them to build and will access the SWRR for its residents to use. The route around the footpath west from Two Plank to Blue Gowt Lane would then be open as well. A TTRO is in place for 18 months and this is likely to be revoked sooner if the developers gain permission.
