A52 Reported Collisions and Incidents

Wrangle Parish Council has ongoing concerns regarding road safety on the A52 through Wrangle, particularly at and around the junction with Church End.



1) the number of reported collisions/incidents on the Wrangle stretch of the A52 over the past five years;



2) the types of vehicles involved;



3) any identified contributory factors or trends;



4) whether this section of road is currently under review from a highways or road safety perspective; and



5) whether any mitigation measures or safety improvements are being considered. 

1-3. Please see the attachments which cover questions 1-3. The A52 at Wrangle is reviewed annually by LRSP, we look for collision trends and look to see if safety improvements can be made.

4-5. We are currently compiling our 2025 data to see where this section of the A52 has ranked compared to other sites in the county. This site is currently not programmed to have any additional safety measures put in place however that could change once the new data is analysed.
