Road drainage network and installation on B1195 High Street, Wainfleet All Saints between the level crossing at OS grid reference TF 49725 58751 (w3w snowmen.hobble.swift) and the roundabout at TF 49765 58858 (w3w water.intention.plugs), including the road gully at TF 49757 58814 (w3w willing.incisions.data).

 

1) Please provide all records you hold relating to the road drainage network and infrastucture in this area including but not limited to.

1a) Plans, drawings or layout schematics.

1b) Routine maintenance records and schedules for the past 5 years.

1c) Defect reports, complaints or other records relating to road flooding in this area along with investigation records and responses.

1d) Records of repairs or maintenance taken to in response to flooding or other issues within the last 5 years.

1e) CCTV survey records and jetting records.

1f) Fault or defect investigation reports and findings.

1g) Plans for repairs or investments in this infrastructure.

1h) Details of the resurfacing works carried out in the same area in July 2025 including any assessment of the potential impact on the drainage infrastructure.

1j) Any details of the impact the Section 58 notice in place for this area has had or will have on potential repairs or investigation of issues with the drainage infrastructure.

Resurfacing of the carriageway took place at this location in July/August 2025. Job number 3005505.

Scope of works.

Plane off existing road surface 180mm. No issues found on the planed surface that would have indicated collapsed drainage runs etc.

Relay 140mm AC/20 Binder Course + 40mm HRA.

Adjust ironworks on site if required to level and renew ironworks if applicable.

Re-lining on site as required.

Lincolnshire County Council has a statutory duty to keep the highway safe for the public. We can and will repair highway infrastructure even if a Section 58 notice is in place.
