PE and Sport Premium Funding

Request

PE and sport premium funding for maintained primary schools, including any maintained pupil referral units or hospital schools eligible for the grant.



Please provide the following information for each of the academic years 2024-25 and 2025-26, where held.

For each maintained school in your local authority area that received PE and sport premium funding, please provide:

 

1. The school name and URN.



2. The total PE and sport premium allocation received by the school.



3. The total amount of PE and sport premium funding spent by the school.



4. Whether the council has identified any instances where PE and sport premium funding was not spent in line with the conditions of grant.

Please provide the total amount recovered, withheld, clawed back or repaid to the council. 

If within the limits, for each such instance, please provide:

    the school name;

    the amount of funding involved;

    the nature of the issue;

    whether any funding was recovered, withheld, clawed back or repaid.

 

If answering all parts of this request would exceed the cost limit, please prioritise questions 1 to 3, then question 4

 

5. I would prefer the information in Excel or CSV format where possible.

3. The total amount of PE and sport premium funding spent by the school is a download of the total expenditure charged to the grant from the accounting system for the academic year 2024/2025

The academic year 2025/2026 does not finish until 31st July 2026 therefore this information is currently not available

 

4. Schools have delegated funding and it is the schools responsibility to ensure that they spend the grant in accordance with the conditions of the grant
