Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to please request information relating to the enforcement of legislation governing disposable and non-compliant vapes within your local authority area.

Please provide the following information for the period 1 June 2025 to 31 May 2026:

1. The total number of disposable vapes and/or vaping products that were seized by your authority or Trading Standards service because they were considered illegal, non-compliant, prohibited, or otherwise in breach of applicable regulations.

Where available, please provide a breakdown of seizures by the following:

a) The number of products seized by month

b) The type of premises where the seized vapes were found (e.g. convenience store, vape shop, market stall, etc)

c) The estimated retail value of the seized products

If your authority records disposable vapes separately from other vaping products, please provide this distinction where possible.
