1. Confirmation as to whether the verges along Occupation Lane and Manor Lane are part of the adopted public highway

3. These locations are on the rural flail programme and are cut in accordance with our policy which is 3 times a year to a length of between 25mm and 75mm, for a width of 1.1m from the edge of the carriageway.

10. The Highway Authority has powers under the Highway Act 1980 to prevent certain activities being carried out on the highway .

However, in relation to grass cutting, there are undocumented permissive agreements in place allowing farmers to cut verges to a higher frequency than that carried out under our policy.
