Works order 5851049 dated 28/1/2026

I am emailing to put a request in for information relating to works order 5851049 dated 28/1/2026 in relation to a failed claim reference 2763500 for pot hole damage occurred on 05/03/2026 on Waterwell Lane, Rauceby, Sleaford 
 

Having reviewed Job No. 5851049, we can confirm that following an inspection carried out by an officer in January 2026, works were raised to carry out hotbox repairs along this section of road.

This type of repair involves filling defects with hot material before compacting it. It is particularly effective on rural roads with multiple defects, and as Waterwell Lane is classified as a Hierarchy 7 road, hotbox repairs are a commonly used method of repair.

We can also confirm that this job was raised in addition to existing works already scheduled to repair defects on Waterwell Lane that met our intervention level for repair as outlined in our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan (HIAMP) which can be found at the following link HIAMP
