LCSP Assurance

Please provide copies of the following information:

1. Any policies, procedures or governance documents describing how the LSCP seeks and records assurances regarding safeguarding concerns.

2. Any policies or guidance explaining how referrals are assessed to determine whether they fall within the Partnership's scrutiny and assurance role.

3. Any guidance used to determine when concerns are redirected into school complaints procedures rather than being considered by the Partnership.

4. Any governance documents describing the role of the Independent Scrutineer in reviewing referrals concerning potential systemic safeguarding failures.

5. Any anonymised minutes, reports or records (where disclosure is lawful) relating to consideration of our referral or the decision that assurances had been received.

6. Any documents setting out how the Partnership assures itself that safeguarding partners have complied with their statutory responsibilities under Working Together to Safeguard Children

7. Any documents recording how the Partnership satisfied itself that safeguarding arrangements had functioned appropriately in relation to the concerns we raised.
