By law, we are required to develop, apply, monitor and maintain a strategy for local flood risk management.
The purpose of the strategy is to manage the impact of flood risk to people, businesses and the environment across Lincolnshire.
Our strong partnership approach meant that we were able to put together our strategy as a joint venture between all the organisations with a role in flood risk and water management.
The strategy has recently been revised and is divided into three sections:
- Strategic vision
- Implementation plan for the strategy
- Common works programme
