Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment

We conducted the first Preliminary Flood Risk Assessment (PFRA) in 2011.

The purpose of the PFRA was to:

  • identify areas where flood risk is nationally significant in terms of human health, economy and the environment
  • assist in the development of Lincolnshire's flood risk management strategy

The 2011 PFRA identified no Flood Risk Areas (FRAs).

The PFRA and FRAs for Lincolnshire were reviewed during 2017, using all relevant current flood risk data and information.

There were no significant changes required to the 2011 PFRA, that is, no new FRAs were identified.
