Multiply funding offers easy access to free numeracy courses where residents of Lincolnshire can build their confidence in using numeracy skills at work or in everyday life.

The Multiply programme is designed to improve functional numeracy skills and must complement and not duplicate courses funded via the Adult Education Budget.

We invite bids from interested organisations by 12 noon on 12 August 2022.

We are inviting bids from interested organisations. This opportunity closes at 9am, Monday 20th February 2023.

Funding priorities

Lincolnshire County Council is the Lead Body for the county area of Lincolnshire and is inviting bids for Multiply funding, in accordance with the ‘Invitation to Bid’ provided.  

Interested organisations are asked to submit applications to deliver Multiply Projects, both in the community and in the workplace, in the period April 2023 to 31st March 2024, to adults aged 19/+ against the Interventions listed below:

Intervention 1: Courses designed to increase confidence with numbers for those needing the first steps towards formal numeracy qualifications

Intervention 2: Courses designed to help people use numeracy to manage their money

Intervention 3:  Courses designed to help people manage their money

Intervention 4: Courses aimed at people who cannot apply for certain jobs because of lack of numeracy skills and/or to encourage people to upskill in numeracy in order to access a certain job/career

Intervention 5: New intensive and flexible numeracy courses targeted at people without Level 2 maths, leading to a Functional Skills Qualification

Intervention 6: Courses for parents wanting to increase their numeracy skills in order to help their children, and help with their own progression

Intervention 7: Numeracy courses aimed at prisoners, those recently released from prison or on temporary licence

Intervention 8: Numeracy activities, courses or provision developed in partnership with community organisations and other partners aimed at engaging the hardest to reach learners

Intervention 9: Additional relevant maths modules embedded into other vocational courses
