Admission to the museum is free, except for event days.

The museum is undergoing some essential exterior maintenance work. We will remain open to the public throughout this period. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date.

Opening times

You can visit the museum Friday to Tuesday between 10am and 4pm (last entry 3.45pm).

The museum has a small car park to the front and side of the building. It is fully accessible to wheelchair users.

Into the Woods

Looking forward a great day out this half term? Well, venture "Into the Woods" at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life. Prepare to have lots of fun with crafty makes and a trail based on some well-loved fairytale characters.

Tuesday 18 February
10am to 4pm (last admission 3:45pm)
Children £4 and adults free! (all children must be accompanied by an adult)

Café and shop

Our gift shop sells unusual gifts and toys, period postcards and a range of heritage books.

The Gatehouse Tearoom is temporarily closed and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Learning visits

The learning offer to schools, colleges, universities and community groups focuses on the Victorian and early 20th century era history as well as creative arts and planting.

Loans kits are also available for hire.
