We are responsible for 318 traffic signal installations.
This includes:
- 158 signalled junctions
- 123 signals at pedestrian crossings (Pelican and Puffin)
- 36 signals at pedestrian and cycle crossings (Toucan)
- 1 equestrian crossing (Pegasus).
In addition, we manage assets associated with the following:
- the Urban Traffic Management and Control System
- the Canwick Road Tidal Flow system
- traffic signal matrix signs
- bus priority facilities
- fixed and portable CCTV cameras
- the Fire Service Green Wave priority equipment
Most of our sites have been upgraded to use ELV LED signal heads to improve reliability and reduce energy consumption.
