3,325 people visited the giant earth sculpture at The Collection Museum in Lincoln over the four day Easter break.
That means that over 20,700 people have now seen the unique exhibition since it opened at the museum on Danes Terrace on 5 March 2022.
Paul Mason, visitor experience manager at The Collection, said: “Gaia has clearly captured the imagination of the people of Lincolnshire. We knew the exhibition would be popular but the reaction has been out of this world!
"Since reopening after the pandemic, we've gone from averaging 2,000-3,000 visitors in a month, to suddenly hitting 20,000 in a month and a half after Gaia opened.
"Even before the pandemic affected visitor numbers, we would usually see only 8,000 or 9,000 visitors on average.
“We’re about half-way through Gaia’s visit to The Collection, so if you haven’t had chance to see it yet, or want to see it again, make sure you come along before the end of May.
“This week, the Creative Collective, The Collection's young people's group, will take over the exhibition for one night only on Friday.
"Join them between 6pm and 8pm to experience their exclusive interpretation of Luke Jerram's sculpture, including an alternative soundtrack created especially for the event.”
Those looking to see the amazing sculpture for themselves have until Sunday 29 May to visit The Collection Museum in Lincoln.
Entry to the museum is free, but any and all donations will help to bring more incredible exhibitions like this to the county.
