What we achieved in August
Phase Three
- West side of site – pier 2 bases concreted / pier 3 bases reinforcement fixed and concreted
- East side of side – complete works at Somerby Hill roundabout / install filter drains & road box and began infiltration trenches between Whalebone Lane and development / begin next set of ground investigation works / started piling works for pier 4
What's happening in September
Phase Three
- West side of site – pier 3 bases concreted / pier 2 and 3 upstands concreted
- East side of side – excavate plug of earth at Whalebone Lane / continue road box & surfacing and complete infiltration trenches between Whalebone Lane and development / complete pier 4 piling / excavate pier 4 cofferdam
Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures
- Ongoing lane closures on the B1174 roundabout until the end of the scheme
- Whalebone Lane fully closed
- Temporary lane restrictions as needed at Somerby Hill Roundabout
