Where do you go to find information on care services?

County Views, get involved - we want to hear from you

The latest County Views survey hopes to make it easier for people to find information about care services in the county.

If you or a family member needs care or support services for the first time, it can be difficult to know where to find information about what’s out there. The county council currently provides online directories to help people find the support they need, through lincolnshire.gov.uk and lincolnshire.connecttosupport.org.

The new County Views survey – open until 31 August 2023 – asks residents how and where they’d expect to find this information, to help us make sure it’s easy to access and understand.

Whether you have previous experience of searching for care and support services or not, your thoughts will help improve our online and printed information and advice.

Cllr Mrs Wendy Bowkett, executive councillor for adult care at Lincolnshire County Council, said:

“None of us ever know when we might need support for ourselves or a member of our family, and if you haven’t needed to access services before it can be difficult to know where to start. That’s why it is so important for us to make sure it’s easy to find and understand information on what services are available.

“We don’t want a lack of information, or difficulty finding it, to be a barrier for people getting the support they need. Through this spring survey, the County Views panel will sense check the way we currently present this information, so we can support people now and in the future.”

We publish three surveys a year, focussed on different services the council provides. Each survey also includes a set of recurring questions about Lincolnshire County Council in general, so we can gauge how well you think we’re doing overall.

Anyone living in Lincolnshire can take part by registering on Let's Talk Lincolnshire. Feedback from residents is vital in improving our services.
