The new 50-metre long, 53-tonne pedestrian and cycle bridge was raised into place on Wednesday 13 November.

- Laid footpath surfacing at Hawthorn Road
- Opened new Greetwell Road roundabout up following essential surfacing and lighting works
- Continued drainage works between Washingborough Road and Greetwell Road
- Completed surfacing between Sleaford Road to Lincoln Road
- Completed bridge deck works for Hawthorn Road footbridge
- Continued construction of River Witham Viaduct, including laying deck formwork and beginning installation of deck rebar
- Constructed bank seats for South Delph footbridge
- Continued construction of Heighington Road bridge, including deck waterproofing, drainage installation and fitting steel parapets
- Progressed wing wall construction for Lincoln Road underpass
- Continued abutment and wing wall works for Bloxholm Lane footbridge
- Continued post-excavation archaeological reporting
What's happening in January
- Install fencing along Hawthorn Road footpath
- Begin filter drains installation between Sleaford Road to Lincoln Road
- Start construction of bases for Greetwell footbridge
- Continue deck and wing wall construction, along with grouting the permanent bearings for the River Witham Viaduct
- Continue construction of South Delph footbridge, including preparing for delivery of the bridge deck
- Carry out essential kerbing and surfacing works to new Heighington Road bridge and re-open Heighington Road
- Complete wing wall construction and waterproofing for Lincoln Road underpass
- Continue abutment and wing wall works for Bloxholm Lane footbridge
- Continue post-excavation archaeological reporting
