- West side of site – complete trestle launch foundations / begin steelwork assembly
- East side of site – east abutment pile cropping / Pier 5 column concrete works / Pier 6 piling works

- West side of site – complete steelwork
- East side of site – Pier 6 blinding (base layer of weak concrete or sand) / east abutment reinforcement fixing and shuttering to initial pours; Pier 5 temporary structure foundations and construction
