What we achieved in November
- Drainage works along the northwest and southwest sides of the A16
- Drainage works and earthworks on the eastern leg of the roundabout
- Carriageway widening and installation of the new keyline on the southwest side of the A16
- Installed new kerb line along the northwest side of the A16
- Started construction of the dedicated left-turn splitter island into the B1180
- Installed the new traffic signs on the western side of the A16
What’s happening in December
- Surface the widened carriageway on the southwest side of the A16 and the eastern leg of the roundabout
- Install the rest of the street lighting columns, cabling and switch them on
- Install traffic management for narrowed lanes at the location of new splitter islands
- Complete construction of the new splitter islands

- Ongoing narrowed lanes on A16 in the roundabout and all its approaches
- Narrowed lanes in the roundabout and all its approaches.
Upcoming traffic restrictions
- Night-time road closures on the A16 starting on Monday 20 January for up to two months, 8pm to 6am, between Ten Acre Lane and Springfield Roundabout
