Works to improve the A153 in Haltham will start in July.
Karen Cassar, assistant director for highways, said: “As part of our ongoing major resurfacing programme for this year, we’ll be rebuilding a section of the A153 in Haltham that’s starting to fail.
“This will be a big job, with over 900 tonnes of road-building materials set to be used.”

Monday 7 July for up to three weeks

Daytime road closure from 7:30am to 6pm (weekdays only)

A153, from Rime’s Lane to just past the antiques shop
Diversion route
Via A153 / A158 / A16 / A155 / A153, and vice versa.
Karen Cassar added: “We'll be doing everything we can during the works to keep disruption to a minimum, including maintaining access for residents and emergency vehicles during our working hours.
“In the meantime, I want to thank everyone in advance for their patience.”
