Careers Hub wins Biggest Impact Through Partnership at the 2025 East Midlands Apprenticeship Adviser Network Awards.

The Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub has been recognised for its exceptional collaboration and impact across the region, winning Biggest Impact Through Partnership 2024/25 at the 2025 East Midlands Apprenticeship Adviser Network (EMAAN) Awards.

Over the past year, the Careers Hub has played a vital role in establishing and expanding EMAAN across Lincolnshire. From limited initial engagement, the initiative has grown over the last year into a thriving network of over 30 apprenticeship ambassadors, supported by a host of resources and a programme of regular CPD (continuing professional development) activities.

Melanie Papworth, Enterpise Coordinator at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “To be nominated for this award was an honour – to win is a fantastic recognition of the commitment and passion of everyone involved.

“Our success is built on strong partnerships with schools, colleges and employers right across the county. Together, we’re creating better pathways for young people to fully explore and access career opportunities.”

“This award reflects the collective effort behind the scenes to build and promote apprenticeship opportunities with EMAAN. Our region has been amongst the most successful across the county, with over 50 percent of EMAAN’s national targets – it’s a real testament to what can be achieved through positive partnership working.

As well as this collective award for the team, individual recognition went to Elle Barnby, and apprenticeship ambassador in Lincolnshire, who received the Outreach and Engagement Award.

Elle said: “I’ve always been a passionate champion for apprenticeships. They’re a great route into the world of work – giving real work experience alongside formal training and qualifications.

“It’s great to have won this award, and I’ll continue to work to inspire more young people in Lincolnshire to explore apprenticeships and feel confident choosing them as the path for a great, fulfilling career.”
