The resurfacing works will see major improvements to Grantham’s Watergate and High Street.
Karen Cassar, assistant director for highways, said: “We will be carrying out a three-week project in Grantham starting in mid-September that will see Watergate and High Street fully rebuilt. This will bring the road to a better standard with fewer potholes.”
Cllr Paul Martin, county councillor for Grantham North, said: “When finished, these roadworks will give Watergate and High Street a new lease of life.
“People will see a major difference when driving on the rebuilt road – including smoother journeys and increased safety.”
