What we achieved in August
- West side of site – begin removal of trestle supports at the bridge launch area, including jacking up the beams to remove the supports beneath / surface the access track at Spittal Gate roundabout
- East side of site – completed drainage works to east embankment / trim Type 1 formation / started laying macadam to the east embankment
What's happening in September
- West side of site – replace trestles under bridge / begin launch nose installation / construct access stairs to the west embankment
- East side of site – complete surfacing up to binder course on the east embankment / topsoil verges to the east embankment / installed safety barrier to the east embankment
Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures
- Lane restrictions around the B1174 Roundabout to facilitate the construction of the haul route and access into site
