Have your say: school admissions policy and co-ordinated schemes

Lincolnshire County Council is carrying out a consultation on changes to its admission
arrangements for local authority-maintained schools and the co-ordinated schemes 2027-28.

The council is proposing to give families the option to list up to four preferred schools in future, up from the current three, giving them more flexibility when selecting preferred schools.

Within the schools admissions policy for LCC maintained schools, the proposals include a change to the published admissions number (PAN) at Quadring Cowley and Brown's Primary School. This would reduce the minimum number of places available in the intake year from 16 to 15.

This will allow the school greater flexibility in complying with regulations that state that infant classes can contain no more than 30 students.

The consultation runs from 1 October to 12 November. For further information and to take part, visit www.letstalk.lincolnshire.gov.uk/school-admissions-2027-28
