Are you looking to make magical memories with your family this Christmas? Lincolnshire Castle’s much-loved Illuminated event is your perfect opportunity!
The stunning light spectacle is returning bigger and brighter from Friday 21 November and with tickets expected to sell out, families are being urged to book their place in advance.
As you pass through the Castle gates you’ll enter a winter wonderland filled with twinkling lights, fairground rides and festive cheer. Explore the magical ice palace – the perfect place to take a festive family photo, or climb aboard the new and enhanced ‘Christmas Express’ ride and enjoy an enchanting journey through an avenue of lit Christmas trees.
For a special view be sure to climb the medieval walls. Sparkling with 38,000 individual lights, the walls offer stunning views of the light sculptures below, as well as of the Cathedral and across the city.
Lincoln Castle Illuminated opens Friday 21 November and runs every Wednesday to Sunday until Tuesday 23 December
Tickets start from £3, but for a truly unforgettable view, make sure you upgrade your ticket to include the Illuminated Wall Walk. Tickets for fairground rides and Christmas Express can be purchased on the night.
