Your chance to be a part of 50 years of history

Have you walked along the Viking Way? Part of it? All of it? At any point across the last half-century? Then we want to hear from you.

Lincolnshire County Council is inviting people to share their stories and photos of this epic long-distance walking route as part of a series of 50-year anniversary celebrations.

Whether you’ve gone all-out and trekked the full 149 miles of the memorable movement milestone, or just enjoyed a short stroll in the county from Viking Way point to Viking Way point, we’d love it if you would tell us what made your experience so special.

What you’ve done doesn’t have to be anything massive, it just has to be a special memory to YOU that you’d be happy to share. A reason for walking when and where you did, something beautiful you found en route or an anniversary of your own making. As long as you found it memorable, then we’d love to include it in the story of the Viking Way at 50.

Tell us, show us, be a part of this and by getting involved we hope that your story will not only capture the spirit of the Viking Way, but inspire others to get out and experience it too.
