The first headline show for Live at Lincoln Castle 2027 is announced today

Two of the UK’s most beloved singer-songwriters are going on the road together for a double-headlining tour next summer.

Chart topping British-Italian singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti and You Give Me Something hitmaker James Morrison will hit the road next June and July for seven dates across England, Scotland and Wales, kicking off at the majestic Lincoln Castle on Sunday 13 June.

Tickets go on sale at 10am Friday from lincolncastle.com and ticketmaster.co.uk.

The first 2027 Live at Lincoln Castle announcement comes just weeks after the sun set on the 2026 series which saw 12 huge headline shows take place in the grounds of the historic castle attracting 60,000 music fans.

And now promoters Cuffe and Taylor are thrilled to start revealing their plans for next year which will see them increase the number of shows to 14.

The double-headline shows with Jack Savorreti and James Morrison will see each taking it in turns to close the show. Closing the show in Lincoln will be Jack Savoretti.

This year has seen Jack Savoretti make a bold return to his musical roots, with the release of his ninth studio album, We Will Always Be The Way We Were.

Marking 20 years since his debut album Between the Minds, the record finds Savoretti reconnecting with the raw storytelling and cinematic soul that defined his earliest work, while further cementing his position at the forefront of British songwriting.

With millions of global album sales, two number one albums and five within the top10 UK album charts he continues to tour across the UK and Europe, 2026 has also seen Savoretti headline a sold-out special 20th anniversary show at the Royal Albert Hall, while also making a surprise appearance alongside long-time friend and collaborator KT Tunstall at the Isle of Wight Festival.

Meanwhile, 20 years into his career, James Morrison’s music still simmers with the soul, emotion and quiet authority that have defined one of the UK’s most enduring singer-songwriters.

Across that time, he has amassed two UK number 1 albums, five UK Top 10 singles, multiple Platinum-certified releases and a BRIT Awards win, alongside millions of global sales. Last autumn saw him achieve his highest chart position in 14 years with his seventh album, the Top 5 record Fight Another Day

One of the UK’s most distinctive and respected artists, Morrison has earned a reputation as a highly regarded live performer, continuing to sell out tours and reaffirming his lasting connection with audiences.

Bringing Savoretti and Morrison together for a series of summer spectacles will be a merging of two of the UK’s most talented live performers.

The headline concert is presented as part of an ongoing partnership with Lincolnshire County Council and Live Nation promoters Cuffe and Taylor to bring world class artists to perform in this outstanding historic location.

Cuffe & Taylor promoter Mark Harrison said: “What a way to kick off our 2027 programme. We’re delighted that Jack Savoretti and James Morrison will begin their summer tour at Lincoln Castle, bringing two of the UK’s most beloved singer-songwriters together for what promises to be a very special night.

“With 14 shows planned across next summer, this will be our biggest programme yet, and we can’t wait to welcome thousands of music fans to Lincoln and reveal even more exciting concerts in the months ahead.”

Cllr Natalie Oliver, executive member for culture at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “Wow! What a way to start the countdown to next year’s Live at Lincoln Castle concerts. We cannot wait to welcome Jack Savoretti, James Morrison and their fans to this extra special performance inside the medieval walls of one of the country’s most incredible historic venues.

“A record-breaking 60,000 music fans flocked to Lincoln for this year’s concert series, and with 14 fantastic concerts planned for next summer, the excitement is already building for an even bigger 2027.”
