More Grow Your Skills events hosted countywide after successfully supporting hundreds of residents over the last year.

Delivered by the county council’s 2aspire programme, in partnership with a range of training providers, employers and support organisations, Grow Your Skills events offer free advice and guidance for anyone looking to gain new skills, improve their career prospects or explore new opportunities.

The events bring together specialist training providers, local employers, Jobcentre representatives and Information, Advice and Guidance officers under one roof, making it easier for residents to access support tailored to their needs.

Whether you're looking for work, considering a career change, wanting to improve your digital skills or simply exploring what's available locally, these events are designed to help you take the next step.

Independent evaluation found strong engagement from participants and partners, with organisations reporting course enrolments, volunteering opportunities, referrals and ongoing support conversations as a direct result of attending.

Among the outcomes recorded, Grantham College enrolled 15 people onto courses, volunteering appointments were secured through Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service, and residents were connected with a range of skills, employment and wellbeing services.

Anyone interested in attending can contact info@2aspire.org.uk for further information or to book an Information, Advice and Guidance appointment.
