Major Nettleham road to be resurfaced

Resurfacing

High Street and Mill Hill in the village near Lincoln will be resurfaced next week.

Work will take place from Monday 10 to Friday 14 August to replace the road surface.

During this time, the road will be closed with local diversion routes in place.

Cllr Richard Davies, executive member for highways at Lincolnshire County Council, said:

"Road surfaces only last so long, and this one now needs resurfacing. Along with surface dressing and pavement repairs, resurfacing forms part of our annual scheme of works to maintain and improve our road network.

"Nettleham Junior School sits on Mill Hill so we've scheduled the work for the summer holidays to minimise the disruption, but I'd like to thank the residents of Nettleham for bearing with us whilst we carry this out."
