Have your say about our services

Lincolnshire County Council is looking for residents to join a new 'County Views' residents' panel to help shape services and develop ideas.

The residents' panel is a joint venture between the councils in Greater Lincolnshire, to help understand issues which matter, develop local priorities, evaluate their services and identify ways to improve in the future.

Residents involved in the panel will be asked to take part in online surveys or polls, have face to face opportunities to share their thoughts and also get the chance to test out and develop new ideas.

Leader of Lincolnshire County Council, Cllr Martin Hill, explains: “We're always striving to provide good, value-for-money services for all our residents. To do that, we really need to know what you think – particularly if you feel we could be doing something differently or better.

"We're asking residents from across the county, to get involved. It would be totally up to you, as a member, to choose what you take part in and how we contact you. We want to make sure we can hear your views, without taking up too much of your time.

"What you say really helps us. For example, a few months ago, we asked the panel for comments about our future plans for dementia. We heard from people who live with dementia, their families and carers, and they made really practical suggestions, which we've now adopted. We've made improvements in early diagnosis and now support more residents who are living with dementia.

"Your views and comments really make a difference. Please join us and help us shape the future of the county."
