Resurfacing works along the B1188 in Ruskington, including Sleaford Road and Rectory Road, will start on Monday 21 October.
Update: Please be aware that this week there will be two overnight closures of the mini-roundabout connecting Sleaford Road, Rectory Road, Church Street and Station Road.
This is to allow new surfacing to be laid and white lines to be painted.
The works will take place at the following times:
- Wednesday 13 November: 19:00 - 00:00
- Friday 15 November: 19:00 - 00:00
During the closure traffic from the B1188 will continue to be diverted via the A15 and A17.
The surrounding roads will be closed as follows:
- Sleaford Road will be closed at the Bellview Road junction
- Rectory Road will be closed at the DC Baxter garage (the public will still have access to the garage)
- Church Street will be closed at the High Street junction
- Station Road will be closed up to Silver Street
Original: The total programme of works is expected to last for six weeks, subject to reasonable weather conditions.
The works will be carried out in three separate phases.
A highways spokesperson said: "As part of these works, we'll be rebuilding sections of the B1188 in Ruskington, including Sleaford Road, Rectory Road and Church Street.
"These sections of road are nearing the end of their serviceable life and need to be replaced.
"Whilst on site, we'll also be taking the opportunity to replace some of the footways, including installing new kerbing and laying surfacing.
"These improvement works, as a whole, will make travelling through Ruskington safer and more comfortable, whether it be by foot, cycle or car.
"So we ask for your continued patience while they are carried out."

- Daytime road closure from mini-roundabout to Winchelsea Road, 8am to 6pm (9am to 3pm from 28 October to 3 November)
- Northbound diversion via A153 Billinghay / B1189 Metheringham / B1188 Ruskington
- Southbound diversion via B1191 Ashby de la Launde / A15 Sleaford / A17 Sleaford Bypass / A153 Speedway Corner / B1188 Ruskington
- Phase Two – Rectory Road; Monday 4 November to Sunday 17 November
- Night-time road closure from mini-roundabout to Elmtree Road, 6pm to midnight
- Northbound diversion via A153 Billinghay / B1189 Metheringham / B1188 Ruskington
- Southbound diversion via B1191 Ashby de la Launde / A15 Sleaford / A17 Sleaford Bypass / A153 Speedway Corner / B1188 Ruskington
- Phase Three – Church Street; Monday 18 November to Friday 29 November
- Daytime road closure from mini-roundabout to West Gate, 8am to 6pm
- Diversion route via B1188 Rectory Road / Manor Street
Please note that all weekend works will be restricted to 10am to 5pm (except Rectory Road, which will be 6pm to midnight)
