What we achieved in May and what we have planned for June.

What we achieved in May

  • Continued Anglian Water diversion
  • Completed new kerbs and continued drainage works to the roundabout's central island
  • Laid over 2,800 tonnes of road material around inner area of the central island
  • Installed new utility crossings near the central Island
  • Progressed drainage works on the A17 dual carriageway ditch
  • Continued carriageway reconstruction works on the A15, between Navenby and Brauncewell

What's happening in June

  • Continue drainage works to the roundabout's central island
  • Continue drainage installation works to the A17 dual carriageway ditch
  • Continue carriageway-widening around the outer legs of roundabout, including surfacing to the B1518 Lincoln Road Sleaford
  • Complete BT cable diversions
  • Continue carriageway reconstruction works on the A15, between Navenby and Brauncewell

Current/ongoing traffic restrictions and closures

  • Temporary 30mph speed restriction and 50mph speed restriction on the A17 dual carriageway
  • Narrowed lanes on the A17 dual carriageway on the approach to the roundabout
  • Reduced lanes on approach to roundabout during off-peak times
  • Signalised pedestrian crossing facility on A17, and to central roundabout for workforce
  • Night-time road closures on A15between Green Man Road and Gorse Hill Lane until early July, 7pm to 6am

Upcoming traffic restrictions and closures

  • Traffic to be moved to the inner lanes of the roundabout to allow works to progress on the outer perimeter of the roundabout
